Our own fragrant mix of allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, malabar peppercorns, coriander, ginger, and cloves make up the base of the marinade for our chicken shawarma. We also love this with lamb, in stews or dry as a dry rub. Baharat (a.k.a. Lebanese 7-Spice) is great for baking - it's like pumpkin spice with a kick (but please, we'll never make it into a latte - we promise). We love it in pies and cookies.
